Levi Gawrock Trøite (professionally known as Levi Gawron) is a Norwegian film gaffer and co-founder of Penumbra, an Oslo-based lighting company specialising in feature films, television dramas and high-end commercial productions. With more than 20 years of experience, he works across Scandinavia and Europe, leading lighting departments on productions ranging from independent arthouse films to large-scale international features.

Throughout his career, Levi has collaborated with internationally acclaimed directors and cinematographers on productions recognised by the world's leading film festivals and award organisations. His credits include Academy Award-winning, BAFTA-winning and Cannes Grand Prix-winning feature films, as well as productions selected for festivals including Cannes, Venice, Sundance and Toronto.

Among the cinematographers Levi has worked closely with are Pål Ulvik Rokseth FNF, Kasper Tuxen ASC DFF, Oscar Faura ASC AEC, Claire Mathon AFC, Oskar Dahlsbakken FNF, Benjamin Loeb ASC, Anders Flatland FNF and Andreas Johannessen FNF.

Since 2016, Levi has worked alongside Best Girl Lisa Emilie Øverjordet, building a long-standing lighting team founded on trust, efficiency and close collaboration. Together they run Penumbra, providing productions with a highly coordinated lighting department known for meticulous preparation, clear communication and calm execution under pressure.

Levi is the recipient of the Gullbrandson Award (Fagprisen), recognising outstanding professional achievement within the Norwegian film industry. His work has contributed to productions honoured with some of the industry's highest distinctions, including the Academy Awards, Cannes Film Festival Grand Prix, BAFTA Awards, European Film Awards and the Caméra d'Or.
